Sheikh Lukman Isalekoto to Speak at Nuru-L-Haq Ramadan Lecture Finale
As the 2026 Ramadan season gradually draws to a close, the Nuru-L-Haq Society of Nigeria will on Sunday, March 15, conclude its annual weekend Ramadan Lecture with prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Lukman Muktar Isalekoto, expected to deliver the keynote address.
The guest speaker will speak on the theme: “Creed to Conflicts: How Distorted Belief Fuels Extremism and Terrorism – Islamic Point of View.”
According to the organisers, the lecture will hold at the forecourt of Oroganloye premises, Engr. Kola Ibrahim family house, Itakure Area, Ilorin, starting from 9:00 a.m.
In a statement issued by the Chief Missioner of the organisation, Sheikh Mohammed Awwal Jumu'ah, the programme will also feature special prayers for Nigeria, with participants anticipating the blessings associated with the Night of Majesty.
He noted that the society remains committed to the propagation of Islam and the teachings and practices of Prophet Muhammad.
Nuru-L-Haq Society of Nigeria is a leading Islamic organisation in Ilorin known for promoting Islamic knowledge and encouraging adherence to the teachings of the Prophet.
Invited guests have been advised to be seated by 8:45 a.m. in readiness for the lecture, as the programme is expected to commence promptly.
