Sheikh Isalekoto Urges Authentic Islamic Knowledge to Tackle Extremism An Ilorin-based Islamic scholar, Sheikh Lukman Muktar Isalekoto, has identified insufficient knowledge of Islam, inadequate understanding, and exaggeration in the translation of the Quran and Hadith as major causes of extremism and terrorism wrongly associated with the religion. Cleric Urges Preservation of Legacy of Early Islamic Scholars in Yorubaland An Islamic scholar, Sheikh Hassan Gbododu, has stressed the importance of remembering the early scholars who propagated Islam across Yorubaland, noting that their struggles and sacrifices laid the foundation for the sustenance of the religion today. An Ilorin-based Islamic scholar, Sheikh Musa Kawu Isalekoto, gave the advice during his lecture at the Radio Kwara Tafsir on Wednesday.
