Kwara Falcon Plays First International Competition, Hopeful on State Govt Commitment
As Kwara Falcons attempt to take part in its first ever international competition, Club Chairman, Aliyu Jubril says the club is optimistic of getting the needed support from the state government in time for the Basketball Africa League. Kwara Falcons will participate at the Tournoi Championship in Abidjan between February 27th to March 1st 2023, before proceeding to the Basketball Africa League (BAL) between 11th to 24th March, 2023. Speaking from the club's training camp in Abidjan, Aliyu affirmed that the club has received unwavering support from the Kwara State Sport Commission and the Nigeria Basketball Federation in areas needed to collaborate.
