 Over 40 Professional, Amateur Chess Players Battle Ready for ABN Rapid Chess Tournament The Ahmad Bolaji Nagode (ABN) Rapid Chess Tournament is set to draw over 40 professional and amateur chess players to Ilorin, Kwara State, on Saturday, November 30, 2024. The event, aimed at promoting chess culture and nurturing local talent, will take place at the Chess Club Academy, Tanke Oke-Odo, Ilorin South Local Government Area. The tournament is organized by the Nigeria Chess Federation (NCF), led by renowned international arbiter Dr. Bode Dutoye and Hajia Hikmot Omotayo, in collaboration with the Kwara State Chess Association.  It is sponsored by Alhaji Ahmed Bolaji Nagode who is also a chess enthusiast and veteran player.
