Nigeria@65: Danjuma Tsaragi Calls for Peace, Condemns Banditry in Kwara The Vice Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), North Central, Alhaji Usman Danjuma Tsaragi, has appealed to protesting youths in Tsaragi to embrace dialogue rather than violence in addressing the growing security challenges in parts of Kwara North and South. Alhaji Danjuma Tsaragi was reacting to a viral video circulating on social media, which showed youths staging a protest at the Emir’s Palace in Tsaragi over worsening insecurity in the area. While acknowledging the youths’ constitutional right to peaceful protest, he stressed that such demonstrations must be carried out within the confines of the law. He further cautioned against politicizing the unfortunate security situation in the region. “Dialogue is better than violence. Allow appropriate authorities to take over the situation,” he remarked.
